During your initial appointment, an attorney will meet with you to explore all of your options. For one of our attorneys to properly review your case, we need you need to fill out a short interview packet. Attached to the first page of the interview packet is a list of items that we ask you to bring to your consultation. If you are unable to bring all of the items, please gather as many of the items as you can find. If you have difficulty in completing the questionnaire or can’t locate all the items requested, don’t let that scare you off. We can assist you with the questions in our office. A typical consultation will normally last one hour.
Bankruptcy
If you are consulting us about bankruptcy, we will be exploring your options under Chapter 13 (Debtor’s Court) and Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code. We will also look at non-bankruptcy solutions to your debt related issues.
We will answer your questions relating to repossessions, foreclosures, deficiency balances, student loans, tax debt, credit cards, pay day loans, title pawns, driver’s license suspensions, pending lawsuits, judgment liens, garnishments, and harassing debt collectors, just to name a few.
We look to see if your creditors have violated the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA).
